Healing the Children Medical Mission to Guatemala

This was podiatry mission and we want to thank everyone for their time and monetary contribution  (airfare, meals, lodging) given on behalf of the children of Guatemala.    The majority of team members are from the state of Michigan; the CRNA’s are from Connecticut.    The mission administrator for Healing the Children – SW was Rita Lavin is from New Mexico.    This is the third medical mission to Guatemala for Drs. Athens, Hill, and Fallat.  The team completed surgery for 26 patients in 3 days  Dr. Athens also provides support to a local Guatemalan orphanage called Hogar Rafael Ayau
